Ethiopia has a long history of state formation and political system that by and large revolved around the monarchy and the church until recently. However, transition of power from one regime to another regime has never been peaceful. In the last 400 years, power was up for grab by whoever seems to master the art of war with very little regards to justice or transformation of the lives of the citizens.
